Purpose of Position
The purpose of this position is to improve business and operating results by providing the installation, maintenance and repair of all equipment sold by or contracted by Cassling. The position has direct impact on the delivery of quality customer service.
- Capable of learning to service and install the Cassling full product line including Vascular, CT, Nuclear, MRI, and Radiation Therapy.
- Repair diagnostic equipment and other related equipment and accessories.
- Perform periodic maintenance inspections as stated by either the contract or the customer.
- Install and/or removal of new and/or used equipment.
- Responsible for completing all appropriate and necessary paper work associated with equipment installation, service and replacement.
- Coordinate efforts with supervisor in order to anticipate future service needs.
- Exhibit ethical, objective business relationships in which the best interests of Cassling and its customers are maintained. Any influences that would jeopardize this responsibility should be reviewed with supervisor.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required by supervisor.
- Parts inventory to be maintained per company policy and procedure including timeliness of parts return, etc.
- Company vehicle to be maintained in a professional manner.
- Must be willing to provide the following information to hospitals upon request: Immunization records, Drug screening, Background check, Training records
Education, Experience and Skills Required
Education: Minimum of a two-year degree in electronics (Technical school or Associates Degree) or equivalent.
Experience: Medical imaging industry Field Service experience preferred but not required.
- Travel to training locations by airline, which may include locations
outside of the United States.
• Successful completion of any appropriate Manufacturers Schools (1 to 6 weeks in duration).
• Proficient use of hand tools required.
• Work with required equipment.
• Communicate technical information to non-technical audiences, orally and written.
• Maintain acceptable DMV (motor vehicle) record as described in Fleet Policy.
• Work in a relatively unstructured environment in which priorities constantly change.
• Wear a cell phone and work "on call".
• Field Service Engineers are required to be available for scheduled and unscheduled service calls on a 24 x 7 x 365 basis. • Lift minimum 80 pounds, climb ladders, work with chemicals, high voltage, and blood and human excrement on equipment.
Customer Support Executive
Purpose of Position
The purpose of this position is to maintain a relationship with C-Level executives ensuring complete understanding of short and long term goals and objectives through consistent communication, accountability and alignment. This executive is involved in customer activities that in some cases are of added value-and over and above the normal Account Executive activities. This position is consistently tying details and concerns together with Cassling/Siemens and the customer, ensuring everyone is on the same page.
Key Requirements:
- Capable of maintaining and growing C-Level executive relationships for compliance partner accounts to include:
* Strong Internal and External communication between customer, Account Executives, Cassling, Siemens and any other third party resources.
* Coordinate bi-annual or quarterly executive steering meetings
* Schedule and conduct strategy sessions, leadership steering committee meetings, or any other regularly planned meetings with executive team.
- Provide a single point of contact and be accountable for customer issues and concerns with the ability to delegate or escalate these concerns until the issues or concerns are resolved.
- Able to think strategically in the sales, implementation, installation and service areas, including the ability to understand the customer’s vision and align appropriate resources.
- Able to define process and manage to the defined processes in a repeatable and consistent manner across all Strategic Accounts.
- Willing and able to do significant overnight travel.
- By telephone, mail, and/or in-person contact, define and communicate expectations to all individuals, keeping all resources on track with defined expectations.
- Ability to work with Strategic Account team, Cassling executives and Account Executives to grow and extend customer agreements.
- Manage activities that are of added value to the customer, over and above the normal Account Executive activities, keeping the Cassling/Siemens team connected.
Education, Experience, & Skills Required
Educational Experience Required
•High school diploma or equivalent with appropriate experience, with vocational training in clinical or Medical IT; or 4-year college degree in a clinical discipline, business, marketing, or finance.
Experience Required
•Three to five years working in a medical environment, including a working understanding of Healthcare provider organizations.
- Willing and able to participate in on-the-job training with other sales personnel, including attendance in any appropriate manufacturer sales training schools.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Willing and able to prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and follow up on items requiring action.
- Computer literacy skills a must, with emphasis in Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point.
- A team player, cooperative.
- Able to contact customers by telephone, mail and in-person visits including driving a motor vehicle to sites.
- Able to routinely utilize independent judgment in performing job responsibilities.
- Able and willing to work in a minimally structured and loosely supervised work environment.
