Purpose of Position
The purpose of this position is to improve business and operating results by providing the installation, maintenance and repair of all equipment sold by or contracted by Cassling. The position has a direct impact on the delivery of quality customer service.
Position Duties and Responsibilities
-
Capable of learning to service and install the Cassling full product line including Vascular, CT, Nuclear, MRI, and Radiation Therapy.
-
Repair diagnostic equipment and other related equipment and accessories.
-
Perform periodic maintenance inspections as stated by either the contract or the customer.
-
Install and/or removal of new and/or used equipment.
-
Responsible for completing all appropriate and necessary paperwork associated with equipment installation, service and replacement.
-
Coordinate efforts with supervisor in order to anticipate future needs.
-
Must be willing to provide the following information to hospitals upon request:

Immunization records

Drug Screening
-
Background Check

Training Records
Education and Experience
-
Education: Minimum of a two-year degree in electronics (Technical school or Associates Degree) or equivalent.

Experience: Medical Imaging industry field service experience preferred but not required.
Skills and Abilities
-
Travel to training locations by airline, which may include locations outside of the United States.
-
Successful completion of any appropriate manufacturers schools (1 to 6 weeks in duration).
-
Proficient use of hand tools required.
-
Work with required equipment.
-
Communicate technical information to non-technical audiences, orally and written.
-
Good interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
-
Maintain acceptable DMV (motor vehicle) record as described in Fleet Policy.

Work in a relatively unstructured environment in which priorities constantly change.

Wear a cell phone and work "on call."

Field Service Engineers are required to be available for scheduled and unscheduled service calls on a 24 x 7 x 365 basis. Certain circumstances, i.e. vacation, personal/family emergencies, etc. are exceptions and coverage must be arranged between the FSE and his/her manager.

Lift a minimum of 80 pounds, climb ladders, work with chemicals, high voltage, and blood and human excrement on equipment.

Perform mechanical tasks.

Unload, move, and assemble heavy equipment.
-
Physical stamina to stand approximately 80% of the working day.

Work long hours, which are not always scheduled or structured.
-
Must be able to drive long distances and stay overnight as necessary.

A team player, cooperative.

Required to remain drug free and abide by the Drug Free Workplace policy.

The purpose of this position is to improve business and operating results by overseeing, coordinating and administering the function and associated personnel who provide the timely technical expertise and service to Cassling customers. The position has direct impact on the delivery of quality customer service.
Duties and Responsibilities

Manage and oversee all Service Department activities of assigned area.

Responsible for the completion of all forms and reports necessary for the administration of service and related personnel including: service reports, FDA compliance, expense reports and Field Modification Instructions for the area.

Responsible for personnel issues relating to service delivery including salaries, hiring, dismissal, employee development, time sheets, etc.
-
Develop marketing and strategic plans with Sales and Marketing manager.
-
Provide for technical support to service personnel and customers.
-
Make and receive phone calls relating to direct service or to providing assistance to Cassling personnel and customers.
-
Schedule and dispense work assignments.
-
Provide quotations for equipment contracts and equipment moves.
-
Work with and provide to the sales department information for the service related portion of requests for proposals (RFP).
-
Arrange, coordinate and facilitate meetings for service personnel.
-
Participate in Corporate Strategic Planning activities as required.
-
Exhibit ethical, objective business relationships in which the best interests of Cassling and its customers are maintained. Any influence that would jeopardize this responsibility should be reviewed with supervisor.

Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; minimum of 2 years technical/vocational school training.
Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in medical imaging service, troubleshooting, customer and vendor interaction. Prior management responsibilities preferred or appropriate OJT workshops/seminars.

Customer Service Representative
Purpose of Position
The purpose of this position is to improve business and operating results through conscientious facilitation of operations as well as the overall office environment and its procedures. The primary focus of this position is to assure appropriate and timely dispatch of service personnel in response to customer calls. The position will impact the delivery of quality customer service.
Position Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for all areas of service dispatch and customer service support including:

Answering telephone service calls from customers, recording all relevant information, and assigning and briefing service engineer on information necessary to the call

Maintaining progress reports via computer for each call and open service alerts on customer account when problems persist
-
Serve as a liaison between service engineers and appropriate management
-
Exhibit ethical, objective business relationships in which the best interests of Cassling and its customers are maintained
Education and Experience
-
Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.

Experience: Minimum of 2 – 3 years prior clerical and/or customer service experience.
Skills & Abilities Required

Computer literacy including knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel with the ability to type a minimum of 30-40 words per minute
-
Ability to operate a telephone system, pager, computer system, copier, fax, 10-key punch and other stand office equipment

Ability to interact competently and comfortably over the telephone

Ability to listen attentively and be patient with difficult calls
-
Willingness to wear a pager and work “on-call” as scheduled

Ability to work in a fast-paced, flexible and moderately supervised environment

Ability to work at a job that involves being sedentary for approximately 90% of the day
