Ashley Geis, customer advocate Cassling Receives Silver Well Workplace Award Omaha, Neb. (April 24, 2006) – Cassling Diagnostic Imaging recently was named a Silver Well Workplace, recognizing Cassling as one of the healthiest companies in America. Presented by the Wellness Councils of America, the Well Workplace awards recognize quality and excellence in worksite promotion. Cassling will receive the Silver Well Workplace award at the 15th Annual Well Workplace Awards Luncheon on Wednesday, April 26, at the Qwest Center Omaha. The Qwest is located at 455 North 10th Street. The luncheon begins at 11:30 a.m. Cassling has expanded its flagship program and is aligning wellness efforts with organizational goals and strategies. “In its fourth year, Cassling’s wellness program has evolved from simply an employee benefit to part of our strategic plan,” said Lindsay Cosimano, APR, vice president of marketing. “In 2005, employees and spouses voluntarily participated in a comprehensive health risk analysis. Using this data, we developed wellness objectives designed to address our employees’ greatest risk areas.” Cassling has aggressively marketed their wellness program through Captain Cassling, a fictional character that is seen on all wellness communication. Cosimano believes Captain Cassling is key to the program’s success. “By developing a cohesive brand for the program, we engage our employees and their families in a creative way,” she said. Captain Cassling’s wellness program provides employees and families with the resources they need to improve their overall wellness of the mind, body and soul. “This award reinforces our efforts and I am grateful that we have been recognized as one of the healthiest companies in America,” said Mike Cassling, president and CEO. Program Highlights Captain Cassling’s Cart Provides free, healthy snack choices that are stocked on a weekly basis. Choices include fresh fruit and vegetables, low-calorie snack packs, juice and more. Wellness Stipend An annual allowance stipend is given to wellness members to help finance wellness activities. Fifty percent of the activity cost is reimbursed. Allowance money can be used for a variety of wellness purchases and activities targeting the mind, body and soul. Captain’s Corner A wellness section on the employee Intranet that includes a calendar of events, wellness tips, articles and links to related Web sites. SimplyWell SimplyWell is an interactive health management program that includes online health tracking, education modules, a comprehensive health assessment and health screening to help employees and families achieve even better overall wellness.
