Cassling to Provide Insight on it's Wellness Program at two Upcoming Conferences
Omaha, Neb. (May 9, 2006) – Cassling Diagnostic Imaging will present educational sessions on the success of the company’s wellness program at two upcoming conferences. Lindsay Cosimano, APR, vice president of marketing, will present the two sessions.
The first session, entitled ‘Effectively Marketing a Wellness Program,’ is scheduled for Friday, May 12, from 1:15 to 2:15 p.m., at the Reaching Up Conference. The wellness conference will take place at Camp Carol Joy Holling, located at 27416 Ranch Road in Ashland, Nebraska.
‘Best Practices: Effective Wellness Programs,’ which is part of the Safety and Health Summit 2006 conference, is the second session on Cassling’s wellness program. Cosimano is scheduled to present this session on Wednesday, May 17, from 3:15 to 4:30 p.m. The conference will be held at the Qwest Center Omaha located at 455 North 10th Street.
During the two educational sessions, Cosimano will provide insight on the importance of branding a wellness program. Cassling has aggressively marketed its wellness program through Captain Cassling, a fictional character that is seen on all wellness communication. The Captain has been crucial to the program’s success.
“Cohesively branding your wellness program engages employees in a creative way,” she said. “Branding your program ultimately helps increase employee participation by allowing you to communicate wellness information, events and activities more effectively.”
As a health-care company, Cassling takes an aggressive approach toward employee wellness. “At Cassling, we understand that the happiness and ability of our employees correlates directly with their level of health and wellness,” Cosimano said. “We provide our employees and their families with the wellness tools they need through a program targeting the mind, body and soul.”
Cassling’s employees and their families benefit from a number of programs including an annual wellness stipend, lunch-n-learn sessions, community outreach opportunities, a monthly wellness e-newsletter, quarterly wellness incentives and more. More than 93 percent of Cassling’s employees participate in the wellness program.
“Wellness programs are becoming an essential part of the Workplace,” Cosimano said. “Educational conferences, such as the two that Cassling will present at, will become more prevalent as the number of on-site wellness programs continues to rise.”
