Cassling Reinforces Its Commitment to Giving Back to the Community with New Program
Cassling Cares Aimed at Supporting Health Care and Children’s Organizations
Omaha, Neb. (Nov. 6, 2007) – As part Cassling’s strategic plan, the company recently launched a campaign called Cassling Cares. Designed to increase volunteerism throughout its territory, the program will encourage employees to donate time and resources to health care and children’s organizations within its territory.
President and CEO Mike Cassling said, “Cassling employees have an experienced track-record with volunteering, whether they give their time to a local school, attend a company sponsored walk/run or donate to a food drive during the holidays. We want to solidify these efforts through Cassling Cares by making the biggest impact we can, through organized volunteer opportunities and activities that improve our communities.”
A committee of employees will drive the company’s efforts. Members represent a variety of departments and locations to help promote participation throughout the company.
The committee includes: Dan Boone, field service engineer, Iowa; Tim Elder, regional service manager, South Dakota; David Kenkel, field service engineer, Nebraska; Megan King, sr. internal communication specialist, Nebraska; Felicia Wayne, executive assistant, Nebraska; and Dreanna Ypma, administrative assistant, Nebraska.
