Amy Adkins , marketing coordinator Cassling Diagnostic Imaging Receives Public Relations Honors Omaha, Neb. (January 4, 2008) – Cassling Diagnostic Imaging received four Paper Anvil Awards at the 2007 PRSA Nebraska annual gala held Dec. 13, at the Hilton Hotel in Omaha. The Paper Anvil Awards recognize exceptional work in the field of public relations. Cassling received an Award of Excellence for its State of the Union employee communication program. The program is designed to educate, recognize and motivate Cassling employees through an annual presentation. Ninety-three percent of employees attended the 2007 State of the Union with 95 percent stating they had a better understanding of Cassling’s strategic plan following the presentation. In addition to the Award of Excellence, Cassling received three Awards of Merit for its Investing in You seminar series, Cassling Corner e-newsletter and Focus employee magazine. The Investing in You seminar aims to increase awareness of Cassling as an industry resource. A June 2007 seminar on MRI and Picture Archiving and Communication Systems received 100 percent positive feedback from attendees and earned an overall average score of 4.75 on a five-point scale. Cassling Corner is a one-stop electronic resource for company news and announcements. The bi-weekly publication is the highest rated among Cassling employees. Focus, Cassling’s quarterly employee magazine, is the second highest-rated publication. Both publications help educate employees on company happenings and industry trends. More than 130 entries from across the state were judged by PRSA’s Central Pennsylvania Chapter for the annual competition. Awards of Excellence were given to outstanding entries that did a superior job of meeting stated goals and achieving results.
