Cassling Fights Hunger Pound for Pound
Weight Loss Challenge to Benefit Omaha Food Bank
Omaha, Neb. (March 4, 2008) - Cassling Diagnostic Imaging is going pound for pound in the fight against hunger. To encourage employee wellness and give back to the community, Cassling has begun a weight loss program that asks employees to donate one pound of non-perishable food for every pound they lose. Cassling will match each donation and deliver the food to the Omaha Food Bank on a quarterly basis.
Cassling accumulated 558 pounds of food following a 12-week weight loss program involving its senior management team. The team contributed 279 pounds of food, representing their total amount of weight loss, Cassling then matched the amount.
President and CEO Mike Cassling said, "The weight loss challenge is a great opportunity to reach two of our corporate goals: giving back to the community and encouraging family wellness."
