Cassling Wins Three Paper Anvil Awards
Omaha, Neb. (Dec. 14,2009) – Cassling’s marketing team received three Paper Anvil Awards at the 2009 PRSA Nebraska annual gala held Dec. 10, at the Embassy Suites in La Vista, Neb. The Paper Anvil Awards recognize exceptional work in the field of public relations.
Cassling received one Award of Excellence and two Awards of Merit for the following submissions:
Award of Excellence: State of the Union Employee Communication Program
The State of the Union program was created to help Cassling employees increase their understanding of the company’s mission, objectives and future direction. Pre- and post-event surveys indicated that employees had a greater understanding of the company’s corporate objectives and their role in their personal development following the 2008 program.
Award of Merit: X-ray Discovery Day Direct Mail Campaign
In October 2008, Cassling launched a direct mail campaign to help health-care facilities promote the importance of imaging and the discovery of the X-ray. A variety of online tools and a free poster series drew a 27 percent response rate, far beyond the campaign’s original goal of 2 percent.
Award of Merit: Investing in You Customer Seminar Series
The Investing in You seminar aims to increase awareness of Cassling as an industry resource. In 2009, six seminars were held at locations throughout the Midwest. On average, 23 customers attended the seminars, a number that was more than double the original goal. Seminar speakers received an average survey rating of 4.5 on a 5.0 scale, with 5 being the highest. The original goal number was set at 3.5.
More than 140 entries from across the state were judged for the annual competition. Awards of Excellence were given to outstanding entries that did a superior job of meeting stated goals and achieving results. Awards of Merit were given to entries that met stated goals and demonstrated good results.
