Many radiography students and technologists would describe how the “passion” they have for helping has fueled their desire to pursue radiography and imaging sciences. Many assume that simply following your passion will give you limitless motivation and make whatever you pursue an easy endeavor.
This is an oversimplification. Passion is certainly important, but without hard work, planning and discipline, it’s difficult to succeed as a radiography professional. This presentation will discuss the eight habits (Purpose, Picking, Practice, Planning, Positioning, Peripheral, Perseverance, and Professionalism) that are necessary to ensure the passion that got you into your field will lead to long-term success and satisfaction in your career. The presentation will conclude by emphasizing professionalism and the code of ethics in radiography.
