2020 was a most challenging year. We endured the spread of COVID-19 followed by quarantine and near-collapse of our economy in the Spring, widespread recognition of painful racial disparities throughout the Summer, and a stressful election in the Fall. Of all professions, healthcare workers bore perhaps the greatest stress of all, by selflessly and tirelessly serving on the front lines during the worst pandemic in over a century. We have shown great dedication and resilience, and many of us have self-actualized in ways we could never have imagined, though often at the cost of great stress.
