    Cassling Joins Omaha Community Foundation Board

    Omaha, Neb. (June 28, 2011) – Cassling CEO and President Mike Cassling recently joined the Omaha Community Foundation Board of Directors.

    Cassling is active in the Omaha community and serves on the Board of Directors for Bellevue University, The Salvation Army, Millard Public Schools Foundation and Omaha Performing Arts. He is Vice Chairperson for the Omaha Sports Commission Board of Directors and past chairman of The Salvation Army Board. Nationally, he serves on the Broadway Dreams Board of Directors. He is an Omaha 40 under 40 alum and received the 2010 Alumni Achievement Award from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

    Joining the Cassling team in 1985, Cassling worked in sales and served as the vice president of sales and marketing before being appointed president in 1986. Under his leadership, the company has earned multiple awards including Platinum Well Workplace Award, Best Places to Work in Omaha and Best Places to Work for the Advancement of Women.

    Cassling holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in general accounting and marketing. He completed the Graduate School of Sales and Marketing at Syracuse University in 1992.
