Overview:
A safe and respectful workplace is essential for effective teamwork, engagement and performance. Psychological safety enables employees to speak up, ask questions and share ideas without the fear of embarrassment or negative consequences, making it a critical factor in healthy workplace culture.
This interactive session introduces the core principles of psychological safety and respect, with a focus on practical behaviors that influence how people experience their work environment. Rather than relying on lecture alone, the session uses experiential and hands-on learning, including brief reflection activities, real-world scenarios and guided discussion, to help participants recognize how everyday actions shape trust, inclusion and accountability. Participants will leave with concrete strategies they can apply immediately to strengthen team dynamics and contribute to a more positive workplace culture.
Learning Objectives
Define psychological safety and describe its impact on team performance and engagement
