Overview:

This session addresses the Individual Development Plan (IDP) process throughout the employment lifecycle. We’ll discuss best practices for identifying and developing the knowledge, skills and abilities of employees in order to prepare them for future career opportunities. We’ll also go over tools, processes and communication basics related to the IDP process.

Angie Longe, MBA, SHRM-SCP

Bellevue University

Angie Longe has been in human resources in a management capacity for more than 20 years. She has worked for Fortune 500 companies as well as small- to medium-sized businesses.

Angie’s experience includes due diligence/integration during mergers and acquisitions, executive and managerial training and coaching, incentive program design and implementation, recruitment and selection, reduction-in-force administration, diversity initiatives and employee relations. She is currently the Program Director for the Human Resource Management Bachelor’s Degree Program and the Masters of Human Resource Strategic Management Program at Bellevue University. She also serves as an instructor for the Society of Human Resource Management's (SHRM) Certification Programs. 

Angie’s educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Drake University. She recently earned a Specialty Credential from SHRM in People Analytics and Inclusive Workplace Culture.
