Overview:

Sim Interprofessional Education (IPE) connects providers from across different disciplines to impart their knowledge to one another and learn from each other, ultimately creating a more unified healthcare team. The experience helps medical professionals understand the roles, responsibilities, and approaches of their own discipline and those of other healthcare professionals when addressing complex clinical and social problems.

In this unique session, three students of IPE will speak about their observations and decisions, emphasizing the importance of patient care, continuity of care, and effective interprofessional communication. This reflective dialogue reinforces understanding of how different healthcare roles contribute to safe, high-quality care and helps attendees grow into more confident and competent radiologic technologists.
