Overview:
This presentation offers a comprehensive overview of professionalism and workplace behaviors in healthcare, specifically focusing on the radiology professions. Participants will learn to define professionalism and emotional intelligence, understand the critical importance of professionalism for radiologic technologists and recognize the expectations for behavior in the imaging workplace. Additionally, the presentation will highlight the significance of professional behaviors that demonstrate emotional intelligence in the workplace.

Michelle Eastham, MA, RT(R)
Allied Health Director; Campbellsville University
Michelle Eastham is currently the director of Allied Health education programs at Campbellsville University in south central Kentucky. She began her career in radiography in 1985 at the University of Louisville. Michelle has a bachelors’ degree in education, a masters’ degree in executive leadership and is nearing completion of her doctorate degree in leadership with a focus on higher education.
Clinically, Michelle has been a trauma radiographer, CT and MRI technologist and a lithotripsy imaging specialist. She is also a licensed Emergency Medical Technician. In education, she has taught in a radiography program, designed and implemented new allied health programs and compiled accreditation prospectuses for the university.
Michelle’s credentials include ARRT certification, Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging licensure and Kentucky EMT licensure. She has delivered continuing education presentations for the ASRT at the state, regional and national levels. Additionally, she is a public speaker in various other sectors.
