    Cassling Employee Selected as Suburban Under 40 Honore


    Omaha, Neb. (July 25, 2011) – Cassling Marketing Specialist Jane Schuster recently was selected as a Suburban Under 40 honoree by Suburban Newspapers Inc. This honor is awarded to the top business and community members who live and/or work in suburban Omaha. Schuster and 26 other honorees will be recognized in a special section in the Ralston Recorder, Papillion Times, La Vista Sun, Gretna Breeze and Bellevue Leader on Wednesday, July 27.

    Schuster has lived in Sarpy County most of her life. She serves as chairperson of Free to Breathe Omaha, a 5k fun-run/walk and 1-mile memorial walk that benefits lung cancer research and education. Last year’s inaugural event drew 452 participants and raised more than $32,000. This year’s event will be held on Saturday, Oct. 15, at Miller’s Landing in Omaha.

    Schuster got involved with this event series through the National Lung Cancer Partnership when her mom was diagnosed with lung cancer and died three years ago.

    In addition, Schuster recently started volunteering for Mission 22Q, a local organization that supports families who have children with chromosome 22q deletion syndrome.

    Schuster joined Cassling in March. She previously worked in marketing at Children’s Hospital & Medical Center and in special sections at the Omaha World-Herald.
