Cassling Employees Collect More than 1,055 Food Bank Donations

Omaha, Neb. (March 10, 2011) – Cassling employees collected more than 1,055 in food donations to support local food bank organizations across six Cassling territories.

Each year, Cassling holds company-wide State of the Union presentations in various locations. The company-wide competition addressed hunger in America by collecting monetary donations and food items at each event. Each territory donated items to a local food bank.

The response was overwhelming. The goal was to collect an average of four items per employee. Cassling exceeded that goal by 61 percent and collected more than 6.5 items per employee.

"Cassling always is striving to improve the communities in which we serve," CEO and President Mike Cassling said. "By collecting donations across our territory, we are proud to reach more people and help fight hunger in several locations."

Feeding America is the nation's leading domestic hunger-relief charity, providing food to more than 37 million Americans every year.
