Cassling employees had the opportunity to volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House and Children’s Hospital Hand in Hand program. Employees across the Cassling territory also were encouraged to volunteer in their community during the incentive.
The promotion began with the Easton Memorial Poker Run on June 4. Employees donated money, helped with set-up and registration to raise donations for the Hand in Hand program run by Children's Hospital. The Poker Run raised $10,000 in donations, which was $2,000 more than the previous year.
Cassling Field Service Engineer Michelle Loewenstein, who organizes the annual event, was thrilled with this year's success. "We had such wonderful support from Cassling employees and families," Michelle said. "I really appreciated each and every person who helped make the event such a success."
The Hand in Hand program supports the physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs of children battling illnesses that are life threatening and addresses the needs of their families. ??
Three Cassling teams prepared and served meals for the Ronald McDonald House. From taco night to an Italian feast, employees provided dinner to help families during their most difficult time, while they seek medical care for their children.
Twenty-seven remote employees, spouses and dependents volunteered in their community during the Cassling Cares promotion. Employees throughout the territory volunteered for local organizations including City Missions, fire departments, churches and local search and rescue groups. ??
