Omaha, Neb. (Dec. 10, 2010) – Cassling’s marketing team received six Paper Anvil Awards at the 2010 PRSA Nebraska annual gala held Dec. 9, at the Embassy Suites in La Vista, Neb. The Paper Anvil Awards recognize exceptional work in the field of public relations.
Award of Merit - Captain Cassling’s Biggest Loser Challenge
Cassling’s 12-week Biggest Loser Challenge was created to motivate and educate participants on nutrition, exercise and ways to balance life to achieve personal weight loss goals and improve overall health. Sixty-two percent of Cassling Wellness members participated and 70 percent of participants met their personal weight loss goal, exceeding the 50 percent goal set for both.
Award of Merit - Captain Cassling’s Biggest Loser Challenge Video
A video was produced to encourage and inform wellness members of an upcoming wellness challenge. All wellness committee members were shown making healthy choices and outlined the three-month program. The video was included in a company-wide e-blast and featured on Cassling’s intranet.
Award of Excellence - Cassling Corner Electronic Newsletter
Cassling Corner is a bi-weekly e-newsletter sent to employees and families with information on milestone anniversaries, wellness, family highlights, industry updates, employee recognition, internal promotions and employee development opportunities. The e-newsletter has a 36 percent open rate and a 24 percent click-through rate, exceeding the industry averages of 10 to 20 percent open rate and a 5 to 16 percent click-through rate.

The Webinar is part of Cassling’s Investing in You program, which is a complimentary educational series hosted throughout our territory. Registration for the Marketing From Within Webinar increased by 316 percent over previous events. Survey respondents rated the event 4.8/5.0 in terms of overall satisfaction and 100 percent said they would recommend the event to a colleague.
Award of Merit - Impact, Cassling’s Internal Newsletter
Impact is sent quarterly to Cassling employees and families. The 12-page newsletter provides in-depth articles to increase knowledge, create awareness and provide growth opportunities that support Cassling’s mission. On average, 10 percent of employees are interviewed and featured per issue.
Award of Merit - Members.MD Brand Launch
Members.MD, Cassling and Clark Creative worked together to introduce a new health-care concept of concierge medicine in Omaha. The goal was to increase Members.MD brand awareness, drive membership and recruit new physicians. The launch included community education events, advertising campaign, direct mail and media outreach.
