Omaha, Neb. (April 23, 2010) – Cassling was recently awarded a Best-in-Class Seal from HR Solutions, Inc., to recognize outstanding Engagement and Overall Job Satisfaction scores.
HR Solutions Inc. is an international human capital management consulting firm specializing in employee engagement and exit surveys.
The award recognizes the top organizations in which employees rated the highest Job Satisfaction, Most Improved Job Satisfaction, and Highest Engagement scores within the top ten percent of the company’s normative database. Cassling ranked in the 99th percentile.
In an announcement to employees, Mike Cassling, president and CEO, called the results a tremendous accomplishment. “Seeing the national comparison is great, but I am even more excited about our personal growth year-over-year,” he said.
Cassling attributes the high percentage of engaged employees to open communication, recognition for a job well done and continuing education opportunities. More than 85 percent of participants said that Cassling makes an effort to recognize employees. This is compared to a national norm of 66 percent and a best in class benchmark of 75 percent.
In 2008, 85 percent of employees agreed with the statement: This organization provides me the opportunity to improve my professional knowledge and job skills. In 2009, that number jumped to 97 percent. Similarly when asked whether a supervisor encourages an employee’s career growth, Cassling scored 80 percent in 2009 vs. a 2008 score of 73 percent.
Similar to year’s past, Cassling looks at the overall engagement of its employees. Half of employees are categorized as actively engaged, compared to a national average of only 25 percent. These individuals share a strong desire to be part of the value organization creates. They are described as self-motivated, committed, inspiring, loyal, supportive and likely to provide and believe in strong customer service.
