The Investing In You Educational Summit is right around the corner.

The full agenda has been unveiled, the state-of-the-art imaging systems you can experience firsthand are all set, and we at Cassling are ready to welcome you to Omaha to see what the future holds for the imaging field.

As we get closer to the event on August 26 and 27, we’ve fielded questions from attendees and put together this helpful guide to understanding every aspect of the event.

Keep reading to learn more and, if you have a question not answered here, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.

Why Attend the Investing In You Educational Summit?

This event gives you the opportunity to earn 7.0 CE credits approved by the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) and accepted by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).

Each session focuses on a key topic that matters to technologists, whether that be leadership skills, safety techniques, the technology you use in your craft every day, or so much more. We conduct thorough research to find top speakers whose insights are relevant to your work.

We do this throughout the year as part of our Investing In You program, but the Educational Summit in Omaha is a chance to take things to another level, giving you cutting-edge knowledge while also offering the opportunity to network with your peers from across the country.

How Much Does It Cost?

Absolutely nothing! As part of our commitment to education, the event is free to attend for healthcare and imaging professionals.

What’s the Difference Between the events on August 26 and August 27?

On August 26, we’re hosting an evening event focused entirely on Women’s Health-related issues.

As part of this evening event, we’re excited to host the the Mammo Mandy semi-truck from Siemens Healthineers. Attendees can come aboard to view a mobile clinical workstation focused on mammography.

This year, Mammo Mandy contains the all new MAMMOMAT B.brilliant, featuring a completely new design that's focused entirely on the patient and the mammographer. Women deserve fewer maybes in mammography, and the MAMMOMAT B.brilliant offers high reliability and a low total cost of ownership, helping you make mammography more accessible to the women in your community.

Even though the evening of August 26 is focused on women’s health, the truck and the systems within will be available throughout the morning of August 27 and into the early afternoon.

August 27 is our day-long event whose agenda covers any number of topics relevant to your practice. With sessions focused on body language, radiation safety, advocacy, the current state of imaging and more, you’ll find something that you can take back to your workplace and put into practice immediately.

You can attend one or both days (most attend both), but if you stay for the whole time, you can walk away with 7.0 CE credits approved by the ASRT.

Who Attends the Investing In You Educational Summit?

All kinds of people in the imaging and healthcare fields, and that’s part of the fun.

Attendees to the Investing In You Educational Summit hail from healthcare facilities all across the country. Roles typically encompass radiologic technologists, sonographers, managers, directors of imaging, vice presidents and more.

In fact, one of the most exciting parts about Investing In You is the chance to meet with like-minded individuals whose facilities might be encountering some of the same challenges and opportunities that you’re going through in your professional life. The event will break often to provide you with myriad opportunities to network and get to know your colleagues.

And even if your role doesn’t precisely fit one of the titles listed above but you’re still a part of the imaging world, we’d encourage you to attend as well, as you will no doubt walk away with insights you’ll be able to utilize at once.

Where Is It Located?

We host the Investing In You Educational Summit in Omaha every year. Omaha is where Cassling is headquartered, but it also provides a great central location for people coming in from across the Midwest and the entire country.

This year, we’ll be hosting the event at the Scott Conference Center, in the Aksarben neighborhood. Right in the heart of the city and just a short walk from the University of Nebraska-Omaha, this area has vibrant shopping, restaurants and nightlife within walking distance. And if you have a car and are spending a couple days with us, you’re never too far from museums, the zoo and other awesome things to do.

Our hotel block has sold out, but there are many options that are still either walking distance or a very short (1-2 minutes) drive from the Conference Center.

Is It Too Late to Register?

Absolutely not! You can register up until the day of the event, and we’d encourage you to do so if you can.

How Do I Register?

To register, simply fill out the form located here. That’s all it takes. Do that and you’ll be all set for the Midwest’s leading continuing education event for imaging professionals.

We can’t wait to see you in Omaha on August 26 & 27!
