Cassling President Addresses Company’s Past, Present, Future

by Kyle Salem, Ph.D. on Aug 2, 2017

Kyle_Salem.jpgRecently, Mike Cassling announced our new organizational structure, which separates the role of President and CEO.

Mike is and will continue to be our CEO and intends to remain as the chief customer-facing executive in the organization—working with you and Siemens Healthineers to strengthen our relationships even further.  As President, I will assume responsibility for day-to-day operations of sales and service.

I wanted to follow up with a personal message as President and let you know a few key items.

First, these changes are not about “fixing” anything but about building on Cassling’s high-performance culture and strong history of service.  We will continue to bring the market innovative imaging equipment and healthcare solutions that positively impact patient outcomes and enhance the value-based care proposition.

As you navigate the ever-changing future of healthcare, our new structure will allow us to serve you as well as we ever have.

“Strengthening Community Healthcare”

That’s our motto, and we take it to heart. Some of the most important things I’ve learned in business, I learned from Bob Cassling, Ken Vetter and Mike Cassling.  I consider myself blessed to have known Bob and to have had the chance to sit and hear his thoughts on the business and on customer service.

We will not lose sight of our foundational focus of putting our employees and customers first by providing day-to-day, world-class service.  We will continue to reinforce the cultural beliefs that were carefully nurtured by these men.

Take a moment to get to know our family-owned company. This is a company that I believe in. Our employees make great things happen every day for each other, for our customers, for our communities and, ultimately, for patients. We feel good about the important work we do together in healthcare.

What's Next?

We’re proud to honor the important role of your sonographers and radiologic technologists. They are on the front lines making “waves” of discovery every day for patients and making a meaningful difference in healthcare.  That’s why we are offering free imaging promotional materials to help you shine a spotlight on your teams and celebrate Medical Ultrasound Awareness Month and National Rad Tech Week.

Finally, I hope to see both familiar faces and new faces at our Investing in You events. I encourage anyone who hasn’t participated to take advantage of these educational opportunities. Cassling has provided complimentary continuing education to customers for over a decade, and our commitment to you will never change.

These events are a great way to refresh your skills or learn something entirely new, and you can join either via teleconference or by getting out of the office and networking with others in your profession. In fact, I will be speaking at our upcoming event in Sioux Falls on August 23. I look forward to seeing you there!

Let's Talk

My door is always open.  I’m happy to take your phone call, email or text.  I view my job as doing everything in my power to make you successful. If you call and I can’t answer, leave me a message and I will call you back.

That’s my commitment to you.
