After taking time to carefully examine and be sensitive to COVID-19's effect on hospital operations, Cassling equipment service is once again offering preventive maintenance and modifications. Joe Matthews, Vice President of Service, explains the latest developments and why Cassling is now offering unprecedented flexibility to accommodate the policies and procedures of customer facilities.
In my 35 years at Cassling, our focus has never wavered: we provide world-class service to you and your team so you can take care of your patients and community. You are doing a tremendous job, and we applaud you for your brave and compassionate efforts.
While COVID-19 has changed so much of our lives, our commitment to you remains the same.
Back in March, we postponed some of our work that you deemed non-essential service, including preventive maintenance (PMs) and modifications (MODs). We wanted to give you time to focus on your pandemic preparations and limit unnecessary exposures from the outside.
After internal discussions and many conversations with our hospital partners about how best to support their facilities, we have decided to once again offer PMs and MODs to our customers.
As stay-in-place orders are relaxed, we will remain flexible to meet your needs. For example, if your ramp-up is slow, we can do PM work now. If you’re already swamped making up for lost volume, we can hold off until later. We can also discuss options of completing PMs outside of patient care hours so you can maximize patient care and system utilization.
Essential service has not, and will not, be disrupted. Thanks to our service engineers being embedded in local communities, healthcare organizations have continued to experience our industry-leading response time during this critical time of need.
The bottom line: we’ll continue to be your equipment service partner—offering additional flexibility, plus the world-class support you’ve always relied on us for.
