Omaha, Neb. (May 10, 2017)  CQuence Health Group, the parent company for Cassling, was among 10 Omaha-area businesses to be recognized by the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce for business excellence. CQuence's specific award was given to acknowledge the organization’s philanthropic efforts, and for going above and beyond to foster an environment of community improvement and support.

“Social responsibility is near and dear to our hearts as a company and as individuals,” said Mike Cassling CEO of CQuence Health Group. “Last year, our CQuence, Cassling and Ensocare employees spent well over 300 hours volunteering for causes important to them. We are so grateful that we are blessed with time, talent and treasure to give back to the community.” Cassling continued.

Employees have always been encouraged and empowered to volunteer and donate to the organizations and causes that mean most to them, either on their own or through volunteer and donation activities organized quarterly by the company’s CQuence Cares committee.

Two years ago, CQuence Health Group began offering volunteer time off (VTO) to allow employees to use paid time off for their volunteer efforts. At that time, CQuence was among only 16 percent of employers in the United States to offer VTO, according to a report by the Society for Human Resource Management.
