Dr. Mike Freel serves as the Program Director for the Masters of Healthcare Administration program at Bellevue University, where he holds administrative and faculty responsibilities at the graduate level. His extensive healthcare background encompasses clinical and academic roles, as well as adjunct instruction at Creighton University School of Law. Dr. Freel actively contributes to the healthcare community as a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and National Association of Health Service Executives.
Dr. Freel is a highly accomplished leadership development professional with over 25 years of experience. He has consistently delivered impactful leadership and development initiatives across diverse sectors, including IT security, healthcare, and business processing, driving significant improvements in individual and organizational performance. His expertise is evidenced by award-winning programs and publications that strategically align organizational objectives with measurable learning outcomes.
Dr. Freel holds a Ph.D. in Human Resource Development from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, specializing in leadership and organizational change, with doctoral research focused on the intersection of emotional intelligence and clinical nursing.
