As Director of Project Management at Cassling, Toby Vincent has seen more projects through to completion than maybe anyone. And it’s his perseverance and willingness to get every detail ironed out early on that has enabled him to achieve remarkable growth with Cassling over the past two decades.
As Toby celebrates 20 years with the company, those who know him best were willing to share just what makes Toby such an indispensable part of our team.
“I have been so fortunate to have worked with Toby my entire career at Cassling,” said Kim Phox, former Cassling Regional Vice President of Sales. “He is the ultimate professional and, as an AE, when I wanted him to just agree to a customer request without verifying it, he would never budge until all the facts were on the table. He saved me from disaster multiple times doing this. Customers speak highly of Toby and trust the work he does. I’m thankful to have him as a co-worker and friend.”
“Since coming on to the Project Management team, and even more so after becoming director, Toby has always been an invaluable resource and offers consistent support,” said Jay Daniels, Project Manager. “He has a clear vision of how to improve the overall team while still understanding what it’s like in the trenches. He’s one of those guys that just ‘gets it.’”

“Toby, congratulations on this 20-year milestone with Cassling,” said Field Service Engineer (FSE) Layne Oberto. “You have done so much during that time, starting out as an FSE in Kansas to then becoming the Project Manager and now the Director of Project Management. Cassling would not have been as successful in Kansas without you. We all look forward to what you will accomplish in the coming years.”
“I’ve had to come in after Toby has been Project Manager,” said Project Manager Mike Tinsley. “The shoes I’ve had to fill have been massive. The amount of knowledge he has is incredible. I have had the pleasure to work with Toby as a coworker and as the Director of Project Management. Cassling is lucky to have a dedicated and knowledgeable director like Toby.”
“Toby has a great wealth of knowledge when it comes to Project Management and was always the first person I called when I transitioned from service engineer to project manager,” said Project Manager Justin Hajek. “He is always willing to drop what he is doing to help me and fellow project managers when we are looking for advice. Since his promotion to Director of Project Management, he has been critical in keeping us up to speed on the ever-changing field that is project management. Congratulations on 20 years with Cassling, Toby!”
If you've worked with Toby, I hope you'll join me in congratulating him on his 20-year Service Anniversary with Cassling. From his time as an FSE, to Project Manager, to now Director of Project Management, Toby has been steadfast in not only getting the job done, but getting the job done very well.
I can always count on Toby for his unwavering commitment to Cassling and our customers and be assured he is doing whatever it takes for Cassling to remain successful and to continue to provide the best service in the industry. Toby communicates very effectively and routinely goes the extra step to make sure no stone goes unturned.
I rely and lean on Toby quite a lot, but having worked closely with him over the past year has taught me he is definitely someone I should be and need to be relying on. He is a huge asset to the Cassling Service Team and our customers.
I will say, though, Toby’s no-nonsense demeanor often has my one-liner jokes falling short. But not to worry. Toby, you keep providing the excellent service you have always provided, and I will continue my efforts to make you laugh every now and then. Thank you for all you do and congratulations again on reaching your 20-year Service Anniversary!
