Tissue strain analysis could represent one of the most important developments in ultrasound technology since the advent of Doppler imaging. It complements conventional ultrasound exams by providing another dimension of diagnostic information—mechanical stiffness of tissue. This additional information can be combined with anatomical (B-mode) as well as vascular (Doppler) information to provide a measure of tissue deformation.
Attend this webinar for a discussion of the “what, how and why” of cardiac strain. We’ll cover strain imaging basics, evaluate standardization efforts, and discuss the application of strain for oncology patients and monitoring the impact of chemotherapy. Learn more.
