The words “collaborative” and “dedicated” are often used when describing Cassling’s Field Service Engineers, and FSE Dave Evans is no exception. Dave joined Cassling 20 years ago and is known for his commitment to teamwork and knack for getting things done.

“Congratulations to Dave Evans on celebrating two decades of outstanding service at Cassling,” said Shawn Pew, Senior Director of Service. “Dave joined Cassling twenty years ago when we were both living in the PACS world in the Clinical Information Management Department. Since then, he has migrated over to 100% modality field service.”

From his first interactions with him, Shawn notes that Dave has always been a down-to-earth, humble and funny guy. “Dave has a very easygoing personality that allows him to build strong relationships both internally and externally at Cassling.”

His relationship-building ability was mentioned by a few of his colleagues, including Regional Service Manager Tim Elder.

"Congratulations to Dave on reaching his 20th year with Cassling,” said Tim. “Dave has done a tremendous job helping Cassling grow our business through his technical skills and, maybe more importantly, his personal skill at building long-lasting relationships.

“I’ve worked with him on and off over his career with Cassling. As his manager in Omaha now, I get to see firsthand how well he works with his teammates and customers. We sincerely appreciate all his efforts over the past 20 years. Congrats, Dave, on reaching this milestone anniversary!”

“Thank you, Dave, for all your hard work, taking great care of our customers and congratulations on your 20-year milestone anniversary with Cassling!” said Joe Matthews, Vice President of Service.

"Dave is always willing to help,” said fellow FSE Duane Losh. “He will rearrange his schedule to be there if needed. He is a real team player, something he demonstrates week in and week out. He’s not only a good coworker but also a good friend."

Part of what makes Dave a great coworker is his willingness to step up and get things done.

Dave’s always been a ‘set it and forget it’ kind of guy,” said Shawn. “You ask him to perform a task or find a resolution and it just gets done. You don’t need to check in or follow up. He just does whatever it takes to complete the task or resolve the issue.”

Dave’s had such an impact on his coworkers that they’ve even created merchandise in his honor.

"I've never known Dave to let a bad situation ruin his day. His attitude is 'always have an exit strategy',” said retired Cassling FSE Brent Headley. “If Rod or I were having a bad day, we would ask, 'What would Dave do?' WWDD was our motto. We even put it on coffee mugs. Congratulations on 20 years, Dave!"

After two decades of dedicated service to Cassling and its customers, the more appropriate saying might be, “what wouldn’t Dave do?” Congratulations on your milestone anniversary, Dave!
